BS in Aviation
The BS in Aviation (BSA) prepares student for careers in the aviation industry and provides four specializations:
- Aviation Management prepares students to work in either a public or private airport or a general aviation company while earning a Business Management Minor.
- Flight Operations designs for those students who wish to work in the operations side for commercial and private airlines.
- Professional Flight prepares students for careers as commercial, private and transport pilots.
- Maintenance Management is a 2+2 program for students from local community colleges who have completed an FAA-accredited Airframe and Powerplant (A/P) License. A community college student should be able to transfer almost all of their aviation maintenance courses and complete their BS degree requirements at 菠菜网lol正规平台 in Maintenance Management.
Mission
The mission of the BS degree program in Aviation is to provide students with opportunities to develop both in-depth knowledge and hands on experience in aviation technology, operations, and management for success in positions in flight operations, air traffic management, transportation management, and management of aviation maintenance operations.

- Describe meteorology and environmental issues as they relate to aviation
The BS in Aviation programs are covered by the university-wide Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accreditation.
