Artistic Excellence Programming Grants
Over the last four years, faculty have applied for funds from the Artistic Excellence Programming Events (AEPG) to support their goals in the classroom and beyond by bringing in artists, performers, thinkers, and interactive events that directly benefit our students and our community partners. Our goal is to produce the most interactive programming possible that will support students across all disciplines, and to deepen their engagement with their and other fields of study within the college.
$150,000 has been allotted for Artistic Excellence Programming Grants from student fees each year. These grants will allow us to maximize students’ exposure to and interaction with high-quality, diversified programming in the performing, visual, literary, and culinary arts. The Hammer Theatre and other performing venues on campus offer an opportunity for 菠菜网lol正规平台 to create a coherent arts and culture programming series that invites students to have hands-on experiences with world-class professionals. The arts and the letters are both supported by Artistic Excellence Grants.
See Application Materials for further information (applications available late Fall and due early Spring each year).
Curricular Communities
A corollary purpose of the grant is to integrate the arts and letters into the education, service, and scholarly missions of the University (see Teaching Resources). We encourage all faculty to consider how AEPG and other scheduled events can be effectively integrated into your classes, expanding your students' modes of interacting and expanding your curricular goals.
View some of our past H&A in Action events, enjoy our Stories of Engagement, and read through past reports and cumulative lists of programming since 2018.
Faculty are also encouraged to submit to the Curricular Communities for prizes and awards (both for faculty and students). Read more at Curricular Communities.
